The MSM Electronics workshop is equipped and capable to perform the most complex electronic repair, overhaul, testing and commissioning works on monitoring control systems of all makes and models, complete with documentation.
The training centre is located within the Service Centre premises and is equipped in accordance to MTU training standards; complete with specialized training engines. A dedicated marine technical training complex is in the works to further develop the maritime industry knowledge and know-how in the country.
The MSM Service Centre is the only facility in the country with complete MTU special tools for total engine rebuilding. In addition, the centre boasts the largest and most advanced test bench in the Asia Pacific region with testing capacity up to 9,000kW load, conducted in a ship-simulated environment.
The new logistics centre, targeted for completion in 2012, will be equipped with a state-of-the-art Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) to better manage inventory. The centre will be one of few in the country with an automated system to store and retrieve parts.
